Bertin Technologies, a European industrial group dedicated to high-end instrumentation for critical and scientific applications, today announced the acquisition of Grenoble-based ALPAO, one of the world leaders in adaptive optics.
ALPAO will henceforth be known as Bertin Alpao. On July 11, 2024, the Bertin Technologies group finalized the acquisition of the Grenoble-based company, a pioneer in adaptive optics. ALPAO supplies cutting-edge systems and components to improve image quality in demanding environments. Its recognized expertise joins that of Bertin Technologies, marking a new milestone in its development and consolidating the group’s position in the photonics market.

On July 4, the Bertin Technologies management team met all ALPAO employees for a one-day presentation that marked the beginning of their new shared history.
