INPI (Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle) has published its 2022 regional ranking of leading patent applicants, which highlights the economic players – large companies, ETIs, SMEs and research, higher education and government establishments – who contribute to innovation in the regions.
In 2022, 438 patent applications published at INPI came from corporate applicants with at least one inventor located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. These applications represent 4.4% of all patent applications published at INPI in 2022.
