After 50 years of expertise in the field of aero-fluidic sciences, Bertin Instruments has acquired competencies in different application fields linked to cyclone uses. The specific application for airborne particles collection has been studied for more than 10 years and since the beginning, a lot of partnerships have been implemented:

• in defense with the DGA (French government defense and procurement agency)
• in the context of the Legionella crisis with the LHVP (Hygiene laboratory of the city of Paris)
• for pollens monitoring with the RNSA (National aerobiology monitoring network)
• for clean rooms control and especially for pharmaceutical industry

Development of Coriolis Recon for military uses.

Coriolis Recon: rugged and portable with a flow of 500 to 750 l/min. It is designed to be “abandoned” on the ground and performs point measurements or monitors zone operations in a military context. Today Bertin Instruments offers a flexible, easy-to-use and portable air sampler for strict constraints applications such as environment and pollution control, food, veterinary and pharmaceutical industries, and more.

2005 - 2006

Development of the Coriolis μ for mobile applications.

Coriolis μ: compact and autonomous with a flow of 100 to 300 l/min. It is dedicated to mobile applications. It is particularly suitable for the contamination control of confined areas (indoor air).
