Dose rate measuring network
Bertin Instruments developped autonomous probes functioning in network to measure, record and transmit the environmental gamma radiation dose rate.
Dose rate measuring networks are based on autonomous probes designed to measure, record and transmit the environmental gamma radiation dose rate. Different measurement methods are possible, depending on the type of counter tubes used in the probes, from low to high sensitivity.
The probes can be used for specific applications, or be part of a larger environmental monitoring system, including nuclear power plants or regional/nationwide monitoring systems. They are also well designed for first responder issues/emergencies due to their use on installations in harsh environments/rough conditions.
