In the fourth and final application note of our “Mastering Tissue Dissociation” series, we focused on spleen tissue dissociation to isolate single cells.
Using spleen samples from mice housed in standard conditions (UAR BioMedTech Facilities), we achieved a cell viability rate of 87.12%. This method preserves cell integrity, providing high-quality suspensions for spleen research. Bertin Technologies’ Precellys Multi-Tissue Dissociation kit and Precellys Evolution Touch offer an efficient solution for breaking down spleen tissue into single cells. This precise dissociation is pivotal for advancing studies on immune response and related disease mechanisms.
