The Egypt State awarded Bertin Instruments the contract to establish a national radioactivity monitoring network. In case of a radiological incident, warning stations installed in strategic locations will allow for rapid crisis management even in degraded environmental conditions.
Saphymo delivered at the end of 2015 a first radioactivity monitoring network for the Egyptian State. In case of a radiological incident, warning stations monitoring air and water installed in strategic locations will allow for rapid crisis management even in degraded environmental conditions.
This contract marks the company’s first major success in the Middle East. The project, which involved Saphymo teams spread over four major sites, is also a good example of collaboration between the teams of Bertin and Saphymo.
For years, Saphymo has been a leading manufacturer in the field of radiation monitoring networks, with over 4,000 sensors and 100 monitoring networks installed in over 40 countries.
