During the latest armed conflicts, light and armored military vehicles have often been targeted. On-board crews require systems to help improve their safety, providing day-and-night useful information on the environment, either for Situational Awareness (SA) or for Driver Vision Enhancement (DVE).
PeriSight has been assessed by the French DGA and STAT, for the SA and DVE of a VB2L (light-armored vehicle). SA was validated, from the vehicle to the DRI range, and DVE tests were also conclusive, both for driving and manoeuvres. PeriSight has proven that it was a reliable, intuitive and ergonomics optronic system, that can be easily integrated into any existing military vehicle to provide SA and DVE to the crew, day and night.
