Context
Obtaining single primary cells from fresh tissue has long been recognized as a crucial technique for advancing our understanding of physiological and pathological phenomena. This approach holds significant promise for the future of medical treatments, including cell therapy and personalized medicine. However, despite the substantial interest and potential of this technique, achieving viable single cells remains a significant challenge. In this context, Precellys Multi-Tissue Dissociation kit by Bertin Technologies emerges as an effective solution, providing an efficient method for dissociating tissues into single cells.
In this application note, we present the results obtained with the Precellys Multi-Tissue Dissociation kit for the dissociation of mice’s hearts to single cells.
For this study, we used tissue samples from mice housed under standard animal facility conditions, without any specific treatment (UAR BioMedTech Facilities).
